March 5 was PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) theme night at the Philadelphia Flyers game. Dogs were on site for adoption, and a donation from the Flyers Charities 50/50 Raffle jackpot was earmarked for the cause. PAWS is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals.
Members of the Flyers Wives were featured in the April 2014 issue of MetroKids Magazine, a resource for parents living in the Greater Delaware Valley -- Philadephia and its Pennsylvania Suburbs, South Jersey and Delaware. 3/23/14: Now in its third year, the Flyers Wives Building Hope for Kids initiative is a partnership between Michael's Way and Flyers Charities to help renovate the home of a chronically ill child. Many members of the Flyers family, including wives, players, coaches, and management, came out for the unveling of the Toledo home.
